Maintenance area moved to the chart position
The hangars, tower, compound and tank farm now sit where the 1996 chart and airport plan put them, at the chart's angle.
The maintenance area has moved to where the 1996 aircraft parking and docking chart and the airport plan put it: a strip of hangars and aprons behind the terminal's north-west end, turned to follow the chart's angle instead of the runway's.
What changed
- The hangars, workshop tower, interline building, fenced compound, blast fence and floodlights moved together and turned to the chart's angle
- Parked maintenance aircraft face the hangar doors again
- Hangar walls and the tank farm still block aircraft and the autopilot correctly
- Three maintenance office buildings were added from the chart
The sim's terminal block and car park do not match the chart exactly, so the strip sits slightly further out than on the real plan to stay clear of them.
